POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provides professional case management to court involved individuals who are participating in the Overton County Recovery Court (OCRC) to help provide services to meet the individual’s needs.
SUPERVISION:
The OCRC Case Manager works in collaboration with the OCRC Program Director and Recovery Court team. Supervision is provided by the OCRC Program Director. The position may require general assistance in understanding court and programmatic operations and direction on how to complete tasks. All work is monitored for accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Examples of duties may include the following:
1. Provide comprehensive case management services to Overton County Recovery Court participants.
2. Conduct eligibility screenings and administer assessments to determine applicability for the OCRC program.
3. Provide new participant program orientation.
4. Determine participant needs and formulate weekly and monthly case plan to address needs.
5. Monitor participant progress toward client-centered goals and Recovery Court requirements.
6. Meet or contact participants on a regular basis; frequency based on program phase structure and participant need.
7. Oversee and/or conduct urinalysis screens on participants.
8. Coordinate transportation arrangements for participants to community agencies and appointments through program resources.
9. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to update and monitor participant progress.
10. Prepare reports on participant status for staffing and court hearings.
11. Participate in bi-weekly court staffing and hearings for participants.
12. Identify and refer participants to a variety of community resources.
13. Facilitate effective communication with service and community providers, and participants.
14. Enter and manage accurate client records in all program data management systems (e.g., TN-WITS, federal reporting requirements).
15. Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports based on data analyses and research.
16. Periodically report on all assignment-related progress; provide written summaries of work completed upon request (e.g., weekly reports).
17. Engage in ongoing training and professional development as required.
18. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related field.
· Demonstrated experience working in a recovery, mental health, or case management environments.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability and willingness to engage in positive collaborations with partners.
· Demonstrated skills and knowledge in facilitating a trauma-informed environment.
· Ability to recognize and maintain appropriate boundaries.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Willing to work flexible hours such as occasional nights and weekends.
· Must have transportation and possess a valid driver’s license.
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:
· Experience working in a Recovery Court or with court involved individuals.
· Knowledge of court policies and procedures.
· Knowledge of community agencies and the resources they provide.
· Positive and compassionate attitude with clients and the public.
· Problem solver; highly efficient; detail oriented.
· Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
· Ability to implement program changes in an efficient manner.
· Ability to keep accurate records and write detailed reports.
· Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
CONTRACT POSITION:
This position is a 1099 contract with Overton County Government. The position does not provide health benefits, however the position does allow for a potential cost of living adjustment each contract year.

Pay: $34,439.34 - $47,840.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
