The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.
The Recovery Coach Traineris responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that equip trainees with the skills and knowledge to support individuals struggling with addiction. This position works closely with trainees to guide them through various aspects of addiction recovery, including understanding the principles of recovery, honing communication and support techniques, and developing effective strategies for relapse prevention. The Recovery Coach Trainer will also be responsible for evaluating trainee performance, providing feedback, and making necessary adjustments to training programs to ensure that they remain relevant and practical.

Schedule: Full time (40 hrs) - Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm ET
Target Pay Range: $27.00-$30.00- Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:
- Developing and delivering training programs for Recovery Coaches.
- Providing instruction on addiction recovery principles, motivational interviewing, and ethical guidelines.
- Creating training materials, including presentations, handouts, and interactive exercises.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to measure trainee progress and competency.
- Offering mentorship and support to trainees throughout their learning journey.
- Staying updated on best practices and trends in addiction recovery and coaching.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify areas that require employee training and arrange appropriate training sessions accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
Qualities we're looking for:
- Having a profound comprehension of the fundamental principles and methodologies of addiction recovery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively teaching and mentoring trainees.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs, workshops, or educational materials.
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and other relevant coaching techniques.
- Certification or credentials as a Recovery Coach Trainer (Preferred)
- Familiarity with ethical guidelines and best practices in addiction recovery.
- Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills for managing training schedules, materials, and assessments.
- Continuous learning and staying updated on developments in addiction recovery and coaching practices.
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and a workstation setup conducive to remote work needs.
This is a full-time (40hrs per week) remote position.
