Records Clerk
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to and process public inquiries; fingerprinting and photographing individuals; answer phones and take messages; enter data into computer programs; scan reports/files to electronic files; transcribe audio statements; file and maintain Sheriff’s Office reports/files; locate, copy and/or print Sheriff’s Office records/files.

Salary
- $16.22 per hour, with annual increases

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday
Minimum qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen; Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older; Must possess a high school diploma or GED; Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s license; Must possess keyboarding skill of 55 words per minute or higher; Must possess data entry skill of 6,000 keystrokes per hour or higher; Must possess data entry efficiency rate of eighty percent (80%) or higher; Must pass criminal background check, truth verification examination, and physical/drug examination.
