Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Be a team player and work well with other staff members
- Answer phones and effectively and quickly assist patient needs
- Verify insurances and determine copays and patient costs
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Schedule appointments and oversee provider’s schedules
- Perform data entry
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Basic scanning, faxing, and email correspondence
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist, office assistant, or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of office procedures and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in medical reception or data entry is a plus
