Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Overview
As the face of our company, the Receptionist will greet and welcome clients, vendors, and employees into our Grant Garrett Excavating facilities. Additionally, you will answer phones, process mail, and perform other administrative tasks including assisting the accounting department with AP and AR entry and PO issuance.

Responsibilities
Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of our office.
A typical work week is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Welcome onsite-visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Maintains office appearance.
- Answers incoming phone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards call to appropriate personnel. Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Sorts and routes incoming mail, either paper or electronic, to the appropriate personnel. Processes outgoing mail including UPS/FedEx packages.
- Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies including business cards and specialty printed materials.
- Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, filing and maintaining data.
- Data entry including Credit Card statements, AP and AR Entry.
- Backup and assist the Accounting department with varying tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and relative administrative experience and/or training preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savvy: ability to navigate multiple systems including Microsoft Office Suite and call management systems
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift, up to 45 pounds
- Diligence and attention to detail
