Summary
The Front Desk Team Lead will support a team of receptionists, medical records, and couriers and responsible for their team’s performance. Will work with other Team Leads across our region.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitors front desk guidelines and policies with the purpose of ensuring compliance, as well as maintaining alignment with the organization's mission.
- Collaborates regularly and provides timely and efficient communication for office issues, challenges, and needs with the goal of supporting effective services and optimal flow of information.
- Ensure organizational standards of performance and conduct, including those pertaining to patient rights, to ensure that exceptional customer service and patient care may be provided.
- Provide oversight, supervision, and manage staffing schedules.
- Serve as an escalation point to diffuse and resolve challenging patient concerns.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal, external sites.
- Participate in meetings with the regional manager and other Team Leads.
- Travel to sites.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical office supervisory experience.
- Strong diagnostic skills; competence in patient engagement strategies. Must be able to quickly establish rapport across all functions and patients.
- Proven experience with problem solving in a customer service/patient focused environment.
- Experience in a multi-site environment and/or healthcare organization preferred.
