Receptionist

An immediate opening is available for a receptionist. We are an established general contracting and remodeling company based out of Peoria, IL. We perform work throughout the state of Illinois, and we're looking to grow!

The ideal candidate would have a positive demeanor, whatever-it-takes attitude and thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. This individual will work directly with our office manager. Must have exceptional communication skills and a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls/emails.
• Keep office organized and clean.
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
• Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
• Update calendars and schedule meetings.
• Perform other receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

Requirements:

• Experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands-on experience with office equipment.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Customer service attitude.
• High school degree required.

One professional reference required.
