Job description

This is a Part Time position working 30 hours per week, starting at 7:30am. Build your own schedule working Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday!
JOB PURPOSE:
Serve as the initial professional point of contact for visitors and associates entering the building and provide support in a general administrative capacity.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
  • Greet and check in/out visitors following established security protocol; greet team members in a courteous manner as they enter and exit the building.
  • Monitor non-team member access to the building and ensuring visitors are connecting with team members they are there to see.
  • Manage the reception function by notifying the appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals or cancellations, and by providing a comfortable atmosphere for visitors while they wait.
  • Manage inquiries from the public and provide general information about the company; possess a clear understanding of what information is to be shared versus information to be kept confidential.
  • Coordinate meetings and travel reservations.
  • Coordinate the delivery and distribution of small parcels delivered to the reception desk.
  • Purchase office supplies as appropriate and as directed; coordinate office equipment check out/in.
  • Represent Midco by actively seeking out volunteer and community involvement opportunities.
  • Be willing to work on special projects as assigned.
  • Manage breakroom upkeep daily and ensure all supplies are stocked.
  • Organize engagement opportunities for team members reporting to office.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding.
  • Maintain a neat and functional work area.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
  • Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by the position.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Five years minimum previous professional receptionist experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • The team member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The team member must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
