Summary:
The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is seeking a Receptionist to join the Office Services and Conference Center team. Willkie Farr and Gallagher LLP. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 14 offices in six countries.
The Receptionist will be responsible making positive and lasting impression on clients and visitors when arriving for a Willkie office visit, while providing exceptional service to Willkie employees. The successful candidate will be approachable, proactive, and engaging. This role requires in office attendance five days a week from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls and emails from internal/external clients and direct them to relevant attorneys/staff and assist with booking conference rooms as needed
- Communicate clearly, effectively and professionally with lawyers, clients, staff, vendors, and building management; both verbal and written formal
- Identify and respond to customer/client issues/problems in a timely manner, and seek feedback/follow-up as appropriate
- Anticipate customer service needs of clients and employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent (GED), Advanced education preferred
- Hospitality, concierge or retail experience required
- Prior experience in a corporate environment preferred (i.e. Law Firm, Financial Services)
- Prior reception or conference center experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor, and presentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills; dependable team player; well organized; self-starter; strong attention to detail; must possess good judgment and decision making skills
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels in various departments
- Ability to work over-time according to business needs
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt within a fast pace environment
ADA Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
- Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
- Ability to carry light objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.
- Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 15/20/25 lbs. on occasion.
Employment Status:
- Non-Exempt
- In-person(Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm)
The salary for this role is $40,000- $45,000 represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and location.
