Hair Salon Receptionist

Panca Salon is a high-end Hair Salon located in midtown. We are looking for an energetic, well-spoken candidate with a warm personality and professional appearance to fill a part time receptionist position. Knowledge in the salon industry will be a plus.

We are open Tueday-Saturday, whoever fills the position will be scheduled as needed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients, and provide customer service.
• Book and confirm appointments via phone and in person.
• Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts
• Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services, and schedule appointments based on availability
• Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
• Maintain a tidy reception area

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role
• Hands-on experiences with office equipment, like printers and POS systems
• Familiarity with processing transactions
• Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone) with a positive customer service attitude
• Solid organization and record-keeping skills
• An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
