Receptionist (Fridays only)
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The part-time Receptionist at the Kenworthy Administration Center maintains a welcoming presence at the front desk to greet and assist guests and staff. In addition, the Receptionist may assist in clerical tasks to support the work of the administrative staff.
*** Presently, this position will be scheduled on Fridays from 9:00AM - 5:00PM (8 hours per week), with additional hours available on occasion. ***
High school degree or equivalent certification. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Strong computer skills and ability to multitask.

- Must be able to demonstrate ability to work with people from diverse racial/cultural/socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Maintain a welcoming presence at the front desk to greet and assist guests/staff.
- Assist guests with processing in-kind or monetary donations, questions, or other needs.
- Answer front desk phone, take messages or transfer calls as appropriate.
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the operation of the front desk.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the front desk, waiting area, bathroom, and work room.
- Assist CEO, Finance/Admin Team, and Development Team with clerical tasks including word processing, data entry, filing, sending and receiving of scanned documents, and other tasks.

- Maintains excellent working relationship with staff, volunteers and public.
- Ability to perform gross and fine motor activities required for typing, writing, simple manipulations such as telephone buttons, computer keyboards, fax machine buttons, etc.
- Ability to work in a professional environment and positively represent organization under various levels of stress.
- Visual acuity for accurate reading, typing, filing and use of computer screen.
- Hearing is needed for purposes of business related phone communications, public broadcasts, answering incoming phone calls, etc.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while assisting with deliveries, donations, or office supplies.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat for filing and retrieval of stored files and supplies.

PAY / BENEFITS:
This is a part-time hourly position currently offered at $15.00/hour to be scheduled for 8 hours per week (9:00AM-5:00PM on Fridays). This part-time position is not eligible for benefits.
