Primary Purpose:
Under direct supervision provide reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the campus office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
- Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Collect and enter attendance into the established database and verify accuracy according to established procedures
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer all incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route them to appropriate staff.
- Professionally handle upset patrons/parents as needed.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for mailing, including preparing labels, stuffing envelopes, etc.
- Provide clerical assistance as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for properly maintaining district records, adhering to all policies set forth by the district for records maintenance, and learning the records retention schedule for department records.

Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of the computer. Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting and carrying; climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Responsibilities require contact with individuals that may include exposure to disruptive behavior.
