Job Description
Busy downtown Oshkosh law office is currently in need of a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with an easy going personality, who will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive our firm's success. Previous experience in an office is required, legal experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train someone who has office experience with strong administrative and communication skills. Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - Noon; however, this position will be a part-time position for approximately 24- 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, with the occasional Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents, as needed
- Send out invoices and statements to clients
- Greet and assist clients
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Develop and implement organized filing systems, paper and electronic
- Perform all other office tasks as needed
- Assistant in Family Law and Personal Injury Cases
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Strong keyboarding, grammar, proofreading skills
