SalaryThe incumbent is responsible for taking and directing all incoming telephone calls, greeting and/or directing family members/visitors as well as providing secretarial assistance to Residents and other management personnel. Periodically will assist Administrative Assistant with typing overloads or as requested by others. Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus additional office procedures courses.
- Zero to two years prior experience.
- Must have a friendly and pleasant telephone voice and manner.
- Normal "break-in” time is 0-3 months.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Must be in good general heath and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
