The Receptionist provides professional and timely service to visitors as well as administrative support to facility staff and residents.
Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to facility staff and residents.
- Greets all who enter facility.
- Assists with incoming calls.
- Distributes mail.
- Processes the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Records in-service attendance.
- Schedules appointments and transportation for residents.
- Assists other departments with various paperwork, brought to his/her workstation, as time allows (i.e. medical records, social services, supplies, etc.).
- Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
- Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
- Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
- Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
- Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.
