Receptionist

The Receptionist provides professional and timely service to visitors as well as administrative support to facility staff and residents.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative support to facility staff and residents.
  • Greets all who enter facility.
  • Assists with incoming calls.
  • Distributes mail.
  • Processes the Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Records in-service attendance.
  • Schedules appointments and transportation for residents.
  • Assists other departments with various paperwork, brought to his/her workstation, as time allows (i.e. medical records, social services, supplies, etc.).
• Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
  • Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
  • Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
  • Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
  • Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.
