Receptionist

Serenity Hospice Care is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Receptionist for our Springfield office. The Receptionist is primarily responsible for answering all incoming calls, routing telephone calls to the correct location and performs a variety of clerical, administrative and other tasks in support of the business operations.

This position is full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and route all telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Take clear and concise messages.
• Greet guests and staff coming into the office in a professional manner.
• Insure all visitors and field staff sign-in.
• Routes correspondence or files to appropriate staff via email or hardcopy.
• Presents a positive, professional image of the organization both in person and on the phone in all interactions with staff, vendors, volunteers, applicants and others
• Assist other members of the management team with delegated clerical functions.
• Process and send regular, insured, special delivery, express, certified or registered mail to appropriate individuals or agencies as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changes as needed.
• Able to self-manage and work with teams
• Organized & detail orientated.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Drivers License with reliable transportation.

This position is full time, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
