Receptionist

Receptionist - Full Time
Location: Hancock Veterinary Services - Springdale, AR, 72762
We are seeking a full-time receptionist to join our team in Springdale, AR. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Use practice management system (Pulse) for scheduling, medical records, and invoicing
• Greet pet owners in a familiar and friendly manner, speak with them about their pets needs with compassion and knowledge
• Check patients in and out
• Partners with rest of the hospital team to manage patient appointments from start to finish
• Process all payments
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and team
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room
• Be familiar with hospital product and service costs for accurate estimates and invoices
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Preferred: 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred, but we are open and willing to train the right candidate.
