Receptionist

Job Summary

At Richelieu Foods we make Great Food from Great People. We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk and provide excellent customer service to our visitors. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the front desk, greeting visitors, and performing clerical tasks.

Essential Functions

• Greet and welcome visitors, contractors, vendors as they arrive.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person.
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
• Sort and distribute mail daily. Notify the recipient of incoming supplies, boxes, and packages.
• Maintain a clean and organized general office area.
• Maintain visitor log, ensuring that guests sign in and out.
• Issue building access badges to new hires and contractors.
• Order door plates and business cards for new corporate personnel.
• Order coffee supplies, office supplies, and kitchen supplies, ensuring inventory is stocked and maintained.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, creating posters, photocopying, faxing, and scheduling mail pick up.
• Assist with planning and decorating for meetings, holidays, and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Experience

• 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in an office environment
