Receiving Clerk
Pay Range: $20.50- $23.50
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary job duty is verification of inventory records.
- To perform a variety of semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment and safety precautions.
- To adhere to the general safety plan.
- May be required to do other duties as requested by supervisor.
- Primary job functions typically require exercising some independent judgment.
- Performs work at a quality level consistent with Wabash National standard practice.
- Work Independently with minimal supervision
- Teamwork and the ability to work well with others
- Read and Write in English Language

- Detail Oriented
- Arithmetic Skills are required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can exceed OSHA limits.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have both written and verbal communication skills.
- High school degree or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred for this position
- Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel
- Possess required math skills including fractions and decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and ability to read a tape measure.
- Knowledge of inventory storage practices and manufacturing processes preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires minimum of eight hours standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements.
Regularly required to lift and carry up to 35 (thirty-five) pounds. Frequently required to lift and carry up to fifty-five (55) pounds. Occasionally required to lift and carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of ladder, stairs, heights, platforms and climbing in and out of trailers or working under trailers in tight spaces.
Must have ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools safely, work with compressed air safely, operate fork trucks safely and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
