Mission Engineering designs and builds electronics for the music industry. Our products include guitar amplifiers, speakers, switching systems and power supplies. Our products are shipped to stores, distributors and touring bands worldwide. Our factory and warehouse are in Petaluma, California.

```Job Overview```
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.

```Responsibilities```
- Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Sort, label, and organize received goods in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer orders
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Knowledge of packing, and shipping processes and materials
- Familiarity with computer-based shipping systems and label printers
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely
- Ability to read and complete shipping documentation such as bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
