Receiver - 1St Shift

Receiver – 1st Shift – East Flat Rock - $17.29/hr.

PrideStaff is recruiting for a Receiver for 1st Shift for a parts distribution company located in East Flat Rock. 

Job Summary:  Responsible for accurately and efficiently check-in, count and verify inbound shipments

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloads freight shipment trucks maintaining strict standards to ensure accuracy in the freight bill and the delivered products
• Unloads UPS trucks maintaining separate returns from receiving packages according to company
• standards
• Logs and communicates to supervisor any discrepancies, damaged, or ripped merchandise.
• Determines if inspections are needed
• Completes required receiving paperwork
• Maintains orderly housekeeping of assigned area
• Adheres to all company safety rules and regulations
• Other tasks as assigned and/or needed
• Non-essential functions
• Cover for other positions as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred
• Good MS Suites skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Basic math skills
• Team oriented
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
