As a Product Director in Real Time Payments, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Strong partner with technology and architecture with ability to challenge, discuss, debate and arrive at the right product solution, and deliver in a timely manner against tight schedules. Understand current tech stack, supporting applications, reporting tools and be a key contributor to investment planning. Lead the API strategy, innovation in product design and development. Build a culture of innovation, test and learn and iterate.
  • Lead global design sessions to ensure global capabilities are thoughtfully build with high degree of reusability. Oversee and put a governance structure to track project progress. Ability to articulate gaps, issues, and solutions in a business friendly manner.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Experience working in a global capacity, interfacing with different markets, and regions with ability to effectively understand, synthesize multiple asks into a thoughtful prioritization of global book of work. Experience in thinking and working through local nuances in the industry and among customers. Ability to think global, and execute local.
  • Payments experience required. Experience with  defining service levels, developing globally scalable infrastructure supporting billions for transactions leveraging APIs and traditional file based mechanisms.
  • Persistent, willingness to go the extra mile,  works well with stakeholders and supporting teams such as Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, Analytics, operations, and production support, ability to guide consensus and make hard calls supported by strong reasoning.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Engineering/ Technical background with Global Payments Product Development/ Management experience 
  • Instant payments experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to synthesize "the narrative" for executive/ engineering/stakeholder audiences and adjust messages and style. Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, with demonstrated ability to deliver results.
