Seeking a senior leader for our Investment Bank. This will be a highly visible position, working with various derivatives and cash instruments. This role will report to the Head of Capital Solutions, and will help lead the bank's new global initiative.
Responsibilities

• Act as a senior member of the Investment Banking team, and assist with the buildout of the global team and all associated aspects
• Responsible for helping deliver the bank's global strategy: building out the bank's global nostro accounts, establishing interbank relationships for liquidity, launching and integrating the trading platform, and expanding the suite of relevant products
• Work closely with each major line of business to deliver a comprehensive suite of products and solutions that will enhance the firm's collective offering
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, workflows, and other documentation as needed
• Assist in client onboarding and ongoing client account management
• Perform ongoing guidance and responses to regulators and internal / external audit
• Other ad hoc projects and functions as required

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree or certification a plus
• 20+ years of experience in Financial Services, specifically Trading, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, or a related function
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with minimal to no oversight
• Experience managing front line teams a strong plus
• Experience in building and implementing front office systems
• Highly analytical, specifically in the area of Global Capital Markets, with an ability to articulate complex situations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Keen understanding of the current regulatory environment, and the ability to apply that to the division and implement and adhere to effective controls
• Able to work productively and effectively in environments with varying degrees of structure
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliveries simultaneously, managing expectations to the team(s), to management, and across the firm
• Highly skilled at written / verbal communication and effective diplomacy
