Axient is seeking an experienced Master Planner to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a Master Planner contractor for US Army customer located in Huntsville, AL.
- Develop the Real Property Master Plan including land use maps and future development plans for multiple installations both stateside and overseas.
- Perform data analysis and quality assurance on Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS) data to support Army business practices and processes.
- Working knowledge and hands-on fexperience with the following DoD systems: GFEBS, FMSWeb, ISR, HQIIS, RPLANS, ASIP, and ePRISMS.
- Working knowledge and experience with preparing Stationing Packages (AR5-10).
- Gather information for the Army Stationing Installation Plan (ASIP).
- Preparation and submission of Installation Status Reports (ISRs) for Army buildings.
- Conduct space analysis reports.
- Provide support for the review of MILCON documentation
- Facilitate lease paperwork with US Army, DoD, and GSA.
- Develop estimations for the life-cycle cost estimations associated with the agency's prioritized actions and the costs relating to the acquisition of Real Property assets by purchase, condemnation, exchange, lease, or otherwise.
- Knowledge of DA 415 -28 - Guide to Army Real Property Category Codes, AR 405-45 Real Property Inventory Management, AR405-70 Utilization of Real Property, Federal Management Regulation 41 CFR 102-71 through 41 CFR 102-86, and Executive Order 13327 Federal Real Property Asset Management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of relevant work / job experience.
- Must be able to perform with a high a degree of accuracy, efficiency and proficiency and be able to perform all taskers with minimal supervision
- Ability to execute timely and accurate transactions in multiple property management systems concurrently
- Proficient in MS Suite
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with US Army and/or DoD Real Property procedures and data systems.
- Experience with Department of Public Works (DPW) or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DoD Installation Management activities and responsibilities.
- Understanding of major and minor MILCON project management from Design Charrette through Final Design and the experience to provide insight to stakeholders.
- Ability to assist the Government during design reviews on design packages for supported projects.
- This position is located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL and is not eligible for remote telework.
- Travel can be expected with quarterly trips to locations that may include Kwajalein Atoll, RMI; Ft. Greely, AK; Colorado Springs, CO; and others.
