Job description

Under the general direction of a Supervising Property Appraiser (SPA) , the Associate Property Appraiser (APA) appraises the more difficult and complex railroad and utility land parcels and nonunitary improvements for property tax purposes. This position also performs the annual editing function during the unitary appraisal process for state-assessed property. The incumbent may act as a lead person in the appraisal of state-assessed property.
Under direct supervision of the Supervising Property Appraiser (SPA), the Assistant Property Appraiser (AsPA) appraises the less difficult and less complex railroad and utility land parcels and nonunitary improvements for property tax purposes. The incumbent also performs the annual editing function during the unitary appraisal process for state-assessed property.
This position may be filled as either an Associate Property Appraiser or Assistant Property Appraiser. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications of both the Associate Property Appraiser and Assistant Property Appraiser. Find additional information about the job in the Duty Statements below.

Working Conditions
