Position Overview
As a Real Estate and Facilities Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical space of our company. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff to oversee the day-to-day operations, including but not limited to maintenance, security, and space management. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and grow within the facilities management field. This position requires a high level of discretion, strategic thinking, and excellent organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate, influence and execute Thrive’s commercial Real Estate Strategy
- Oversee and manage the day to day operations of Thrive’s Global Real Estate portfolio, including acquisitions
- Assist in the management and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, Security, plumbing, electrical) to ensure operational efficiency
- Act as the primary stakeholder for Thrive’s commercial Real Estate portfolio
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility-related work, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Assist in space planning and office reconfigurations to accommodate team needs and improve workspace efficiency
- Help manage facility budgets and ensure accurate record-keeping of expenses and invoices
- Respond to facility-related emergencies promptly and effectively
- A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in facilities management or a related role. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practice
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
- Experience in vendor and consultant management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
