Halifax Health is seeking a TJC Facilities Coordinator for our Facility Operations Department.
SummaryThe TJC Coordinator assist in all aspects of Engineering, Construction, and Facility documentation and projects. Primarily focusing on the documentation of compliance/required reports of the building and projects. Inclusive of Joint commission, AHCA, Insurance, etc. Maintain the files for testing and reporting on both CMS (Computer Monitoring Systems) and physical files. Keep track of deadlines for testing and repairing while maintaining documentation required. Coordinate with vendors and team members to fulfill requirements. This includes documentation among all Halifax Health associated buildings.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma required, Associate degree preferred in Construction or related field.
3-5 years applicable experience. Organization skills- well organized and detail orientated.
Familiarity with Healthcare buildings is a plus, Architectural, and construction documents/plans.
Must be able to read and interpret plans.
Must be able to identify on reports when items need to be corrected and when to elevate the situation.
Assist Project Manager and/or representative for any assigned Engineering and Construction related major or minor capital projects to incorporate documentation that pertains Joint commission, AHCA, Insurance, etc.
Keep track of and file all documentation to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Streamline communications Between Engineering and Construction and Facilities regarding completion of tasks related to Joint Commission. Assist with developing processes to streamline financial systems between Engineering & Construction and Facilities.
Assist with preparation, management and monitoring of testing/maintenance of equipment/buildings for Facilities, Engineering and Construction operating budget, specifically for testing/service agreements with vendors responsible with providing documentation.
Assist with creating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets of items due.
Assist and coordinate with Business Coordinator regarding but not limited to: Construction Projects, Contracts, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
