Position Summary
Safely and efficiently supports KRDNA Department activities in the United States including the turf field maintenance and General Maintenance of equipment. Will also require the ability to transport machines between sites, and periodic support of the test team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintenance as needed for the turf test fields with mowing, irrigation, fertilizer, weed control and overseeding.
- Preparing field conditions for scheduled tests.
- Perform General Maintenance on equipment.
- Shop work using basic shop equipment including Drills, Saws, Power Tools.
- Must obtain (within 60 days) and maintain a valid DOT license and Kubota Driver's List status.
- Continue to maintain a 5s area according to Compliance Standards.
Essential Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Operating and maintaining general landscaping equipment to include Zero Turn Mowers, UTV's, Large/Compact Tractors with implements
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
- Eligible to drive TEA Truck and Trailer (KMA Driver's List plus must maintain a valid DOT License)
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills
- Ability to use basic hand tools (Torque wrench, Mechanical Tools, etc)
- English language competency including demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to Travel as necessary
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Landscaping, Golf course, or Turf farm maintenance experience.
- Able to perform moderate to advanced fabrication (Welding, Forming, Machining, etc.)
- Advanced understanding of engineering prints (tolerances, welding annotation, etc.)
