About the Role:
The Raw Material Quality Systems Manager is responsible for driving the implementation, improvement, and governance of Raw Material food safety and Quality Systems and technical documentation for North America area.
The position is responsible for synthesizing RM Quality supplier audit results, CAPA tracking, and incoming material non-conformances that can be shared cross-functionally (Procurement, R&D) for supplier performance management and identify supplier improvement areas.
This role reports into the Director of Raw Material Quality for North America and work in close collaboration with NAM Procurement, R&D, and the central Raw Material Quality team in Alba. This position is located in Parsippany, NJ.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and serve as main contact internally and externally of RM Quality Systems used in NAM (Devex, Service Now, etc.)
- Synthesize RM Quality supplier audit data, CAPA tracking, and incoming material non-conformances at 8 Ferrero plants for supplier performance management and identify areas of improvement (300+ suppliers)
Implementing Ferrero Group procedures in relation to Raw Material Quality and updating Ferrero Group procedures with NAM addendums. Leading working group in case of local area procedures are needed (ex: innovation and supplier de-risking processes)
Serve as main contact Internal (RM Quality auditors) and External (suppliers) of RM Quality Systems used in NAM, drive local implementation of Group systems.
Working internally and externally with suppliers to drive compliance to Ferrero specifications and quality requirements.
Experience with Raw Material Quality management and/or supplier management
- Knowledge of GFSI standards mandatory
- Knowledge of FSMA / FSVP / regulatory compliance
- Knowledge Raw Material supplier food safety risk assessments, PCQI certification preferred
- Experience with Quality Systems
- Experience with specification management
Who we are looking for:
- Experience in Quality in the food industry mandatory, 8 - 10 years
- Bachelor of Food Science / Food Technology, Masters preferred
- Experience with Raw Material Quality management and/or supplier management
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP and similar tools and programs
