Job Purpose:
The Community Solution Education System is seeking a Manager, Reconciliation and Quality Assurance Reporting directly to the AVP of Financial Aid. This critical role will be responsible for the Title IV Reconciliation and accurate awarding of federal student aid for the purpose of Quality Assurance. This position ensures the alignment between internal systems and federal government platforms to ensure federal financial aid accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct Title IV reconciliation ensure alignment between external and internal financial records (month end reconciliation); collaborate with the Associate Director of FA Processing and Director of Risk and Treasury to align reconciliation efforts with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze reconciliation results to identify discrepancies, trends, and anomalies, collaborating with relevant departments to implement corrective actions through monthly audits.
- Serve as Quality Assurance for campus-based funds.
- Collaborate with AVP, Compliance and Student Finance during single audit.
- Close out award years in COD.
- Generate weekly reports on Reconciliation and Quality Assurance outcomes while providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial accuracy and compliance to leadership.
- Record Quality Assurance events by compiling reports summarizing findings and trends for management and to assist in the training of financial aid staff.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve overall student finance operations and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Audit student financial aid accounts under the guidance of current federal, state, institutional regulations, and policy & procedures.
- Maintain standards for reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of Title IV aid programs, including grants, loans, and Campus-Based aid. Working knowledge of COD reports a must.
- Strong analytical skills, adept at comparing and interpreting financial data across various systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of related experience in financial aid with strong knowledge of reconciliation

Compensation & Benefits
This opportunity is budgeted at $60,000 - 66,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
