We have evening and night shifts available, per diem, part-time and full-time. These positions offer maximum shift differentials. We provide opportunities to train on other modalities as well including, CT Scan, Mammography, MRI.
Hours: Evening and Night shifts. 3pm-11pm, 11pm- 7am

Job Overview
Under the direction of the clinical leaders, performs radiographic procedures that follow radiological standards in a safe, accurate and timely manner which are necessary to allow the radiologist and/or physician to make a radiological diagnosis. This position performs radiologic procedures in both in-patient and out-patient settings in accordance with physician's orders.
- Greets patients using scripting and other tools in an effort to improve communication and improve patient/physician satisfaction. Escorts patients by specified mode of transportation. Identifies patient verbally by name and DOB and checks ID bracelet.
- Properly identifies patients and exams ordered. Identifies patient verbally by name and DOB and checks ID bracelet. Assists patient with dress and undress as needed. Transports patient interdepartmentally as needed.
- Orders proper exam in RIS system identifying proper ordering physician, account information and diagnosis.
- Properly positions and prepares patients for Radiological procedures deciding on techniques and views to best demonstrate injury or illness. Properly uses CR/DR (as appropriate) processing and PACS to ensure image quality meets Radiologist protocol.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills to troubleshoot any imaging and/or IT related issues to completing studies, reviewing studies in PACS in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides proper radiation protection for patient, other employees, and self in accordance with ALARA.
- Communicates need of supplies regularly to supervisor to maintain adequate inventory and or order supplies if needed.
- Supervises students during radiologic procedures and/or assistants to proper radiation protection, image orientation and patient education.
- Assists Radiologists and other physicians during Radiological and Surgical procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of Barium and other contrast materials. Demonstrates the ability to operate all radiologic equipment.
Requirements:
- Massachusetts RT license, Required
- Associates in Radiological Technologist Program, Required
- 1-3 years of experience, Preferred
