Job Description:
Are you a skilled QuickBooks Implementation Consultant with a passion for streamlining accounting processes and maximizing efficiency? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a QuickBooks Implementation Consultant on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our accounting system from our current solution to QuickBooks, ensuring a seamless integration and optimization of workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Assess current accounting processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop a comprehensive implementation plan for transitioning from the old accounting solution to QuickBooks.
- Configure QuickBooks settings and preferences to align with our business requirements and workflows.
- Customize chart of accounts, lists, and forms in QuickBooks to accurately reflect our financial structure and reporting needs.
- Train staff members on how to use QuickBooks effectively, including data entry, invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users as they acclimate to the new system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with organizational goals.
- Continuously evaluate and refine accounting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of proven experience as a QuickBooks Implementation Consultant or similar role, with a track record of successful system implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks functionality, including setup, configuration, and customization options.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support end-users.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- QuickBooks certification or relevant training is preferred.
