To Qualify for this Job Posting:

• An employee must not have received a written warning for 3 months.
• An employee must not have received a suspension/final warning for 6 months.

Functions/Tasks:

• Inspects and/or tests products at specified stages in production process, for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance color, and mechanical characteristics
• Preparation of End of Shift Reports & Quality Wall results
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality
• Investigate any quality issues perform containment, complete sort reports start Quality Alerts and participate in problem solving meetings
• Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Grupo Antolin Quality Management System (QMS) and IATF16949
• Police approved manufacturing process to escalate any concerns or non-conformities
• Ensure all incidents of non-conformance are recorded and containment activities initiated when necessary to protect the customer
• Perform First Piece Verification at the defined frequency
• Perform In Process Gagng per the Control Plan / Inspection Instructions - Collect and document required SPC / KPC checks.
• Perform Audit on finished material following the Quality gates, product ready for next operation step, finished good, etc.
• Provide disposition of suspect or nonconforming product.
• Assist to establish boundary sample criteria
• Disposition and tag nonconforming material to the Hold Area.
• Ensure all nonconforming material is properly identified and removed from production use in a timely manner.
• Process Supplier Defective Material Notices
• Quarantine any defective products found and work with team to resolve issue
• Drives continuous improvements for the betterment of the department and plant
• Maintain 5S
