- A foundation of education in business or a related field, with a two-year college degree minimum and a four-year degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in Food Safety / Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment, ideally with bakery experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for efficient communication and documentation, plus knowledge and experience with SAP.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and organizational skills, with self-confidence and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge in maintaining and controlling Critical Control Points related to their lines, including setup and troubleshooting of metal detectors and barcode scanners.
- Ability to maintain harmonious relations across departments and levels, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical and mental capability to work over 40 hours per week.
- Competency in basic mathematics and the ability to apply mathematical concepts practically.
- Skilled in using various quality assurance tools and equipment, including Computrac, shaker screens, salt machines, scales, Vitamin C and YSI machines, headspace analyzers, and devices to monitor seal integrity.
