Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Pay: $20-$22 per hour
- Temp to Hire opportunity through Kelly Services
1st shift 8am-4:30pm M-F

What’s a typical day as a Quality Assurance Technician? You’ll be:
• Reading and interpreting specifications and part prints
• Performing accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies
• Filing all Quality Assurance article/material history records
• Conducting first article inspections to support article qualification processes
• Communicating requirements for various documentation to suppliers
• Initiating Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required
• Documenting and reporting inspection findings and results, and monitoring corrective actions
• Uploading and reviewing information on the computer in various databases and internal programs
• Conducting various tests and quality checks on finished articles
• Performing in-coming, in-process, and final inspections of products and processes
• Coordinating the maintenance and calibration program for all equipment
• Auditing and monitoring quality requirements in accordance with company policies and customer specifications
• Following all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
• Actively participating in companywide process initiatives
• Performing other additional duties as assigned by Quality and Operations supervisors
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma
• Have 3-5 years of work experience in a related field or a combination of work experience and education in automotive, medical appliance, construction equipment, or similar engineered products
• Have the ability to use and read basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauge, thread gauge pins, multimeter, gauge blocks, etc.
• Are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
• Have an Associate Degree in Technology or Applied Sciences (preferred, but not required)
• Have aerospace experience (preferred, but not required)
