What you'll be doing:
  • Must perform product sampling, testings and document results.
  • Must be familiar with and comply with all specifications, SOPs, and forms that pertain to the above area.
  • Must perform department audits as required.
  • Must assist with the running of protocols.
  • Must perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
  • Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly

What you'll bring:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to climb on ladders
  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required
  • Candidates must meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity Procedure CL-01-01-037.
  • Should candidate not meet visual acuity requirements upon acceptance of the position, candidate will be required to obtain corrective vision within 90 calendar days. If this requirement cannot be met, the candidate is not eligible for the position.
  • Must complete the CRC testing requirements for this position
  • Ability to work in unfavorable conditions (hot/cold temperatures)
  • Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend/stoop and to stand for long periods of time
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to communicate with different levels within the organization
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Knowledge of measurement methods
  • Ability to perform correct sampling techniques (i.e., torque, chemical, etc.)
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Ability to perform SPC techniques
  • Ability to work with computer systems
  • Ability to assist in protocol evaluation performed in particular area of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of specification system
  • Ability to review specification and SOP changes
  • Ability to write SOPs for area of responsibility
  • Ability to write in-process retentions on defective product
  • Ability to write protocol and final reports

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
