Quality Technician – 3rd Shift
Monitors the quality control system to ensure defect-free products are manufactured. Works to maintain quality requirements through inspection and testing as defined by company standards, customers, industry, and regulatory specifications. Maintains and updates quality records accordingly.
- Engage in inspection and testing activities to verify technical and quality assurance
- Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality
- Maintain various quality records involving customer care tickets, nonconforming products, and return authorizations, etc.
- Conduct internal quality audits to minimize, eliminate, and prevent nonconformity products
- Assist manufacturing personnel with the development of production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costs
- Analyze and review product data reports
- Document and maintain quality control standards throughout various stages of production cycle
- Assist with the implementation of inspection criteria and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Experience/Education
- High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma), 2 year degree preferred
- Quality control experience or equivalent training preferred
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Proficient in analyzing and resolving problems
- Ability to work effectively with various departments and team member
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Strong organizational skills with strict attention to detail
- Strong basic math skills
