- Assist with administration of returned goods and warranty system (RMAs).
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspection using but not limited to CMM, Optical Comparator, Calipers, Analytical Scales, Microscope and plug gages.
- Use SPC software to determine trends affecting production.
- Incoming inspections.
- Support quality at the source and lean manufacturing activities.
- Perform system audits.
- Know the Quality Policy and Procedures
- Mentor Associates in current practices, policies, and procedures.
- Production support. In-process testing.
Education/Skill/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; inspection and/or quality assurance experience performing the above essential job functions.
- Read schematics; be able to perform basic math functions and understand basic geometry; basic gage reading knowledge; communicate clearly via written and/or verbal.
Requirements to apply for Job:
- Must have six months’ general manufacturing experience.
- Excellent attendance.
- Must be in good performance commitment standing. (No written warning within 6 months) Job performance currently at a satisfactory rating of a meets or better in all categories.
