The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Field Technician is to conduct on-site audits of completed service drops by our Installation Professionals and contracting companies. The individual in this role will perform audits daily and verify that all installations meet technical, customer, and industry-specific specifications. They will also correct and document minor deficiencies as they are discovered, collaborate with internal teams, report discrepancy findings, collect accurate billing information, record inventory consumption, and capture photographic evidence. They must provide detailed audit reports and execute strong communication as well as promote trust, quality, safety, and compliance, contributing to a productive and collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership and problem-solving skills and have basic knowledge of premise installations and service drop construction, including both aerial and underground operations, with an extensive understanding of billing codes, inventory parts, and specifications.

Requirements
- Adhere and exceed the company's set expectations and responsibilities.
- Interact with the end user (customer) to ensure satisfaction with our services.
- Review and retain information within specification documents.
- Ensure each job meets all technical, customer, company, and industry specifications and quality standards established for the applicable project.
- Correct minor discrepancies or violations while on-site to mitigate and minimize costs.
- Communicate and collaborate with the AR Department, Installation Supervisors, and/or Project Managers to address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
- Collect and document accurate billing information, including itemized billing details.
- Identify and record all inventory that has been consumed on each job.
- Capture and submit photos of work completed.
- Complete and submit clear and concise auditing reports with a high level of detail and accuracy.
- Build trust and rapport with IPs, ESS Agents, and Management as well as promote healthy team morale.
- Promote and follow company safety guidelines.
- Promote and complete work according to company quality, specifications, productivity, compliance requirements, and conduct standards.
- Oversee project plans, objectives, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of the company's mission, values, and policies.
Schedule:
- Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
- Monday - Friday
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, to include a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
