ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise operations of the Statistical Process Control Coordinator and Standards/Systems Coordinator.
Reviews and approves Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions as appropriate.
Monitors and reviews SPC implementation and applications.
Recommends and assists in developing a departmental budget.
Interface with standards organizations, registrar, and registrar representatives.
Supervise Internal Audit Functions and Conduct Supplier Quality evaluations.
Act as a resource for HCI, HCI Suppliers, and Customers on Standards Compliance with ISO/TS16949; customer-specific requirements
Secondary Functions:
Assist Quality manager with ways to improve quality.
Coordinate Development Implementation and maintenance of Quality Systems.
Monitor corrective action process and document results of audits to Management.
Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
4-year degree or equivalent field preferred.
5-10 years of Quality and automotive experience preferred.

ISO/TS-16949
PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
QSA (Quality System Assessment)
SPC (Statistical Process Control)
MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)
Knowledge and application of problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Office environment with noise from computer peripherals such as a mainframe, disk drive, and printers.
Factory environment with noise from manufacturing equipment.
May spend time in travel between customers and suppliers using an automobile in high-traffic areas. Exposure to automobile accidents causes bodily injury.
Sometimes lifts, carriers or moves objects - up to 10 lbs. Sometimes objects weighing more than 25 lbs.
