Quality Supervisor - 3Rd Shift

What does a Quality Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Lead the laboratory team in assuring product conformity and compliance to internal and external quality & food safety standards established by the QA department, Company and regulatory requirements.
Shift Details: 8:30p - 5:30a (Sun - Thur)
Responsibilities

• Uphold all safety practices to prevent injury from unsafe work practices and/or conditions.
• Ensure quality department is following all KORE requirements, ISO-9001, IS)-14001, OSHAS-18001 and FSSC-22000 requirements and all Federal/State regulatory requirements for beverage processing.
• Monitor adherence to all required work instructions, work aids and forms that pertain to Quality, Environment, Safety and Food Safety including training verifications.
• Oversee the daily monitoring of plant sanitation and personal hygiene as outlined by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Monitor proficiency of laboratory personnel and provide feedback to improve the knowledge base of the department. Provide coaching to improve competency and quality of work.
• Lead and initiate the troubleshooting of systems, equipment and processes which affect overall quality and food safety of product.
• Work closely with plant wide supervisors to achieve overall goals and objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Degree, with college degree preferred in chemistry, biology, or related science field. required
• 4-6 years experience in Quality Assurance in a food manufacturing industry - soft drink preferred
• KO KORE and ISO quality standards in a soft drink environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to participate in a positive and engaged team atmosphere.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Strong understanding beverage manufacturing process.
• Strong knowledge of industry quality standards for beverage manufacturing.
• Specific knowledge of all state and local standards and requirements for water quality and raw materials for food grade production.

Base pay range is $78,500 to $103,000 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
