The Quality Supervisor ensures that all procedures and documents are followed with HACCP, GMP'S, Food Safety Guidelines and SQF Implementation. This would apply for the Receiving, Labeling, Packaging and Shipping of Almonds following U.S.D.A. Standards for Grades of Shelled Almonds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise hourly employees to ensure compliance with company policy and work guidelines, SQF, GMPs and safety requirements.
- Consistently demonstrate safe work behaviors and actively support company safety goals by ensuring all employees follow all safety requirements.
- Provide challenges and support team members to continuously improve results
- Provide superior service by continuously meeting customer requirements and deadlines.
- The Supervisor is responsible for following and giving directions to the Departments Technician's with job responsibilities and procedures in place in the various work areas of the Plant.
- The Supervisor will advise and help communicate to Team Staffing to work with other Supervisors.
- Maintain records of all Forms and Documents In place for Quality Assurance. This would include: verification of Standards of Quality in place, time and attendance.
- Computer Skills for formatting Documents.
- Production verification of finished materials
- Maintain hold / release screen in operation system.
- Notifying manager of any food safety issues.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for upholding all Food Safety, Quality, & People Safety policies and regulations.
