The opportunity:

Our production facility in Bear Creek is one of the largest kraut production operations in the US. We’re looking for a Quality & Product Development Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you’ll create Standard Operation Procedures & Quality Criteria for each product line. You’ll be responsible for developing necessary programs and procedures to manufacture a wide range of products. You’ll be the product & process expert within the team. You’ll be responsible for the set up, implementation and continued monitoring of insourced products to Bear Creek. You’ll partner cross functionally with teammates in procurement, production scheduling,

production, logistics, cost, inventory control, sanitation, and more.

You bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field
• 3 years food manufacturing experience in a Quality and/or Product Development role
• Ability to work independently
• Learning mindset with the ability to understand existing products and associated processes
• Innovative problem solving mindset to continuously improve process and product quality
• Demonstrated experience implementing quality programs and best practices across a manufacturing site to ensure reliably high-quality standards throughout the product life cycle

The fine print:

• Full-time; Exempt
• Onsite position, located at our facility in Bear Creek, WI
• Salaried
• Minimum 40 hrs/week
• Normal hours will primarily coincide with the first shift, but may require outside hours during periods of intense activity such as product launches and test runs
• Some travel necessary to other FFH facilities and or co packers (<10% travel)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
