If you are a Quality Production Inspector looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity located in Boulder, CO. This is an entry level position working in a manufacturing environment. You will gain experiences by working closely with the Quality team. This position is located at our Emerson/Rosemount Facility.
As a Quality Production Inspector You will:
  • Prepare Quality Assurance documentation and document packages for production orders
  • Perform and release inspection dimensional/visual characteristics of material, parts and assemblies under guidance of a Quality Technician.
  • Record inspection results for company and customer reviews; compile data on PC. Electronic and paper files will be created
  • Manage electronic data
  • Scanning of MTRs into an electronic data base
  • Other clerical duties as required

Required Education, Experience & Skill:
  • Ability to read engineering-controlled prints
  • Good organizational skills
  • Basic PC skills and computer experience
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools (calipers, thread gages, ring gages, etc.)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn and develop within the Quality Assurance field
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs (some heavy lifting required)
  • Communicates effectively, interface with production for problem resolution

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Mechanical inspection experience a plus

In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the pay range for this role is $22.40 - $25.40 per hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
