We are looking for a Quality Manager - Steel Processing to join our great team!
Overview:The Quality Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and administering the OPP quality system. This position proactively improves the processing practices, quality systems through programs, equipment modernization, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager interacts with customers to understand their specific quality expectations and requirements, designes and implements process adjustments if necessary
Job Expectations:
· Build, plan, coordinate and administer the Ohio Pickling and Process quality system
· Implement effective methods to inspect, test, evaluate, and communicate OPP processes and products
· Serve as a change agent for our quality process
· Lead the development and adherence to processes, control plans, inspections, audits
· Manage quality projects with strategic company goals
· Ensure customer satisfaction with a quality product
· Engage and coach employees on the quality process and improvements
· Review customer complaints, follow up, and implement processes to prevent recurrence
· Continuously monitor slit/cp/packaging line for ongoing issues and address any issues that arise throughout the day
· Verify and Advise Document Control Conforming to ISO 9001 where necessary
· Participate in Internal Audits, QMS Reviews, and External Assessments/Certificate Audits
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
· 5-7 years of quality control in a manufacturing environment
· Steel Manufucturing or Processing experience is required
· Metallurgical knowledge highly preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft platform
· Critical and proactive thinking skills
· Excellent written and communication skills
· Professional, interpersonal, organizational, and good communication skills
· Able to work independently as well as in a team

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
