Job Purpose
Provides general support to department to gain exposure and experience in desired field of study.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support team with current projects and initiatives
- Assist with special assignments, including data gathering, pilot software testing, and new system development
- Help to oversee the structure, improvement, and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure QMS processes, procedures, forms, templates, and other documents are kept up to date
- Help to arrange and conduct regular internal audits on compliance with the QMS
- Ensure all departments are continuously improving through corrective action and follow-up
- Observe team members and learn about their role in the business
Qualifications
- Candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate program in a related field of study such as engineering, manufacturing, etc.
- The candidate should have an outstanding academic record, excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and writing skills, and strong quantitative and computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Extremely high attention to detail, especially in terms of auditing
