As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Laboratory Technician.
Probi USA manufactures a wide variety of probiotic products including bulk probiotic powders, capsules, tablets and bottled products. Our probiotics are fermented, harvested and frozen at our Redmond facility.
This is a full-time position working in our Redmond, WA facility Monday thru Friday, schedule and hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Position Summary:
The Quality Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in supporting QC activities, including raw material sampling and release programs, media production, sample preparation, and coordination of incoming lab samples. This role ensures the accuracy of instruments and equipment through calibration and verification activities and supports the microbiology lab by producing media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample and verify incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect finished goods to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Produce media for the microbiology lab and ensure availability for testing activities.
- Perform calibration services on instruments and equipment to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate incoming lab samples and ensure timely analysis and reporting.
- Adhere to GMP and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in laboratory, manufacturing quality control, or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Extroverted personality with the ability to handle stress and multitask effectively.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated spaces and able to lift 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow GMP and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team but also independently and prioritize tasks as needed.
