Job Title: Quality Inspector
Reports to: PDI Manager

Scope: This position is responsible for inspecting and installing options to ensure that all buses conform with ABC, factory and customer specifications
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Daytime
- Monday – Thursday
- Overtime may be available on Friday and Saturday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ability to perform repair and rework inspections
- Ability to perform In-Process Manufacturing Inspections
- Perform daily quality assessments on all incoming vehicles from factory
- Document all vehicles that fail to meet quality expectations
- Read specifications and work instructions to understand the requirements of products and services
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
- Repeatedly performing tasks at the highest quality possible
- Working with team members to optimize efficiency
- Following Lead and Supervisor direction to complete inspections
- Troubleshoot, diagnosis and repair issues
- Must accurately maintain and track time and attendance.
- Must work to expand knowledge and skill levels needed to perform maintenance and repairs effectively and efficiently on both customer and internal vehicles
- Specific duties and responsibilities will change as the company adapts to future trends in the business, but include the requirement to clearly document all repairs made on work orders using shop computers and associated software.
Qualifications:
- Experienced with Quality best practices
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Quality inspection experience
- Mechanical background preferred
- An ability to pivot in an ever-changing work environment.
- Experience working with Automotive, Motorcoach or RV
- Strong attention to detail
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work full time with a possibility of overtime
Skills:
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Requires strong organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and complete assignments within expected time frames
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift infrequently
