Supplier Quality Inspector

Revology Cars is hiring an experienced Supplier Quality Inspector at the central Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles. To be successful in this role, you must have experience working in a quality assurance capacity in a manufacturing environment.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Supplier Quality Inspector at Revology Cars inspects and validates products received from component suppliers, identifies nonconformities, and manages the disposition of affected material. This person will be engaged in the evaluation, qualification, and approval of suppliers of purchased components, supports suppliers' failure analyses and application of corrective actions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform inspections on incoming parts and/or materials.
• Perform containment activity as needed.
• Maintain documentation of inspections for each shipment received.
• Conduct appropriate disposition of materials upon completion of inspection.
• Manage status of defective material in the inventory system.
• Communicate defects to the supplier verbally and electronically.
• Process all returns to the supplier, including packaging & labeling, via Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Modify inspection criteria as needed based on data.
• Identify parts that will need to be added or removed to receiving inspections based on data.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounting to ensure proper reimbursement credit for supplier related defects.
• Conduct appropriate disposition of internally caused non-conforming material.
• Work with internal quality, production, and engineering teams to identify and apply corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate or technical degree in quality management, applied science, manufacturing technology, or a similar field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a quality inspection role in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of and interest in automobiles.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with a high degree of fluency.
• Proficient in the use of IT productivity tools.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• Base pay is $23.94 to $30.28 per hour, based on experience.
