As the QEHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety management systems. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, driving culture of continuous improvement, and fostering a safe and healthy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day management of current quality and safety programs according to ISO9001 standards and maintain certification status.
Develop and implement QEHS policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement in quality, environmental impact, and health and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization (incl. our international business units).
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of QEHS programs.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Provide training and education to employees on QEHS policies and procedures.
Participate in work-related accident and injury investigations, manage OSHA logs and interact with insurance carriers as needed.
Interface with regulatory agencies, external customers and vendors and auditors as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Experience in a QEHS management role with similar industries
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (incl. ISO9001, OSHA, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced MS Office and other relevant software skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill incl. coaching and inspiring diverse work teams
Relevant certifications incl. lead auditor for ISO9001 are highly desirable
